on makeyourmoneyathome.siterubix.com my menu is at the top right. How do I make it across under the header picture and make it a drop down menu? Did I have to change the theme

Probably. The location of everything on your site is determined by your theme and many of them only have limited options to change things

However, looking at your site the menu is along the left hand side, so not exactly sure what you're trying to change

I changed the Theme, it just wasn't looking right. The theme i was using didn't let me change some things my reviewers thought I should fix. Hopefully the site looks better now. It's a work in progress :)

Glad you found something that works for you then :)

It depends on your theme whether the option is there. But if it is, it will probably be when you go to apperance - customize- and then there will be a setting for menu. Here some them show different options where you can put your menu, and others only have one option.

Thank you for responding. I will go check it out again and see what I can do. I think it's my theme, but hopefully not :)

I know that selecting the right theme can be tricky. I have spent quite some time testing different themes to find one with the functions I wanted.

When I share my WA link it shows a pic on FB, when I share another website, it's a blank grey head. Please help.

I was struggling with that, too, some time ago. I see you got good answers. I hope you are able to figure out how to do what the kind people below told you to do!

I have the Plugins: Meta and Ultimate Social Media Plus (puts icons on). I try to push edit on the Meta and it goes to a white blank screen

PM me a link to the page you're trying to share. I need to check something in the code.

Homeandgarden.siterubix.com/

Yeah. All in One SEO is adding in the default image because you didn't add one. Go to the All in One menu on your dashboard and go to Feature Manager. Activate the Social Meta manager. This will tell you about the various settings

https://semperplugins.com/documentation/social-meta-module/

Focus on the ones related to images. You can set a default image for your site. And then if you add a featured image to your post it will override the default image.

As Numerous mentioned. Set up your meta tags in the All In One SEO Social Meta feature.

If you're using a custom image, an ideal size is 1200x630 or a 1.9:1 aspect ratio.

Also keep the file size small. JPEG is best. Facebook does not like slow loading images.

You need to add "meta tags" to your page. This is code that the social media sites use to pull information they display in those boxes. Before you freak out about trying to do this, there are plugins that do this for you. Are you using any social media sharing plugins already? Are you using All In One SEO? I'm pretty sure you can do it with that too. If you tell me what you already have I can tell you how to activate it or give you a suggestion for some other plugin.

Hi there. Another, probably silly, question. Does a website have to a Domain name to get Indexed?

My first website I have used as my learning area, so I did not pay for

So since my first website was a free one on WA, will it eventually be Indexed?

When you website indexed means Google knows your website!
Thank you for sharing!

great question. domain names are so inexpensive that most people and companies won't take you serious if you aren't willing to invest what it cost to purchase a domain name into your business.

Thank you

Yes Holly, you need a domain name for your website, it's like the address of your home :)
You're using a website with siterubix extension, that's a domain name. You can have 2. As a premium member, you can have the siterubix extension removed by buying a domain name. You can have up to 2 free and 25 websites!

Ok thanks you

I have two FB pages, one is ran by Page Manager. I have lots of posts on that FB page. These posts are shares, not paragraphs I wrote myself. Can I legally put them in one of m

Your best bet is to create new content Holly so you don't have duplicate content on your site. You can start posting on your site and then sharing it on FB for best results.

Not too, but you can write you own article and put the link to that article to share for your readers!

Used in a small quote? Or copying content entirely? First yes, second no.

Surely thats in the Public Domain and therefore there to be used as and when by the public. If there is a copyright it should be stated.

It would be best not too, as you said you didn't write them yourself.
