There is no fast-track to success here. However, have you noticed that the older you get, the faster time goes? It's a known fact and this phenomenon has everything to do with Psychology.
THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND TIME SPEED.
I love to dig deep into Psychology and learn how things come about and the psyche of it all! The Psychology of this centers around events from childhood to adulthood.
When we were young and just starting out in the world, everything we experienced was done for the very first time! The memories of those "first times" were unique and embedded in our mind. They had lasting impressions on us. Think about it!
We all experienced a first date, first movie, first friendship and maybe the birth of your first child. "There's a first time for everything!" They are lasting memories of novel events.
WAIT! SLOW DOWN!
Every year after--- the "firsts" become seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. When the events are repeated every year, the lasting impressions become less unique and more mundane. People get deep within their comfort zones and daily tasks. Therefore, making time seem to go at a faster pace. The more you experience, the more routine, and the faster time seems to go.
IT'S LIKE GOING ON A VACATION.
The first couple days seem long. You are taking in all the sights, exploring and relaxing. Everything is new! Then, toward the end of the vacation, things become rushed--trying to fit everything in, knowing you are leaving in a day or two--It then begins to speed by! See what I mean?!
EASTER IS COMING UP AND I WAS JUST DECORATING MY CHRISTMAS TREE!
Our routine lives become so predicted that everything begins to blend in together.
What needs to be done is some BRAND NEW EXCITEMENT!

So, coming down to my point of this whole blog, as fast as time is going, it really doesn't take long at all to succeed here!! We'll blink and it will be next year! ---and envision how your business will be THEN!

We have become so used to 'instant'. Everything must happen now. We can not wait anymore. Patience isn't a word used very often these days.
Because of the web, the world became 'small'. We can find out anything in an instant. We can communicate in an instant. We can talk, write, mail, all in an instant.
Because of all the hype about getting rich in an instant when you go online to do business, people are not prepared to work for it anymore. The money will appear in an instant.
Wealthy Affiliate is indeed Brand new excitement. The ones that stick around, the ones that have patience, the ones that realise instant isn't always good, will be the ones that succeed.
Just my take on it.

The psychology of this makes perfect sense. As I was new to Online anything when I joined, time did go slowly as I was constantly learning new things.
Now the time seems to be speeding up again.

Hey, time passes much too quickly when we are having fun! I can remember thinking when I was 10 or 11 years old that when it was the year 2000, I would be fifty, but that was a long way off.
Well, we are well past the year 2000 and still counting.
Now the thought is, if I live to be 100 it will be 2050, and that is Just around the corner! We will blink and 2018 will be gone.
Yes, sad but true, so we must live each and every moment with love and gratitude!
