HAVE YOU CREATED A LANDING PAGE FOR YOUR PROMOTIONAL SITE?
Landing pages are beneficial to the success of your website and are used as part of a Sales Funnel. Defined, a Sales Funnel is the purchasing process that web companies lead potential buyers through.
A Landing Page, in regard to online marketing, is a single page of the Sales Funnel that is presented when your visitor clicks from an outside source---perhaps from a search or an ad. Whatever action your viewer takes on the Landing Page will determine your conversion rate!
WHAT ARE THEY LINKED TO?
Landing Pages are most commonly linked to email campaigns. Their purpose is to convert traffic into sales or leads. I, personally, use them for my email campaigns in order to build client leads and get conversions.
In doing this, the customer must first fill out the necessary information and subscribe to your email. When opting in and becoming a subscriber, I offer a free eBook that I have written relating to the niche, with helpful details they will need for their journey into affiliate marketing.

THE CHECKOUT PAGE--- FINAL DESTINATION.
As traffic clicks through my Landing Page, they will be taken to my WA signup page (checkout page), which is where the conversions may or may not occur. The visitor will either become a referral or a lead.
DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF LANDING PAGES?
A Reference Landing Page offers helpful information that your visitor can relate to or has in common with. They can use images or text.
A Transactional Landing Page includes a call-to-action; a form to fill out (for email purposes). Each time someone clicks and submits their information, (name/email), they become a hot lead and your email subscriber.
Why Capture Pages?
Landing Pages are also referred to as Capture Pages or Lead Capture Pages. Your goal for them is to "capture" your visitor's attention and interest them in opting in to your email.
The ultimate goal is to convert the visitor into a customer on these pages.
So, draw people to land on your Landing Pages, and create catchy ones that will be difficult to say no to!
