GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!

A lot has transpired since I came here back in September of 2016. I developed my first three websites, then went on vacation with my sister to Mexico. She earns a trip every year through her company, and every year we go away together for sister bonding time!

WHILE IN PUERTO VALLARTA

While there, however, I fell and broke my left Humerus bone in two (between my shoulder and elbow) with multiple fractures around it. (I just hope it hasn't hurt my golf game!) Needless to say, I couldn't type or do much of anything for five months, underwent extensive physical therapy and was forced to take a leave from WA.

BACK TO WA!

It was a long road, but I resumed where I left off in September of last year and, since then, my business has grown immensely!

AS FOR MY ARM

The doctors couldn't believe how quickly and wonderfully my bones healed. My arm and shoulder are functioning as best as possible!

Getting back into the swing of things again was challenging. However, with the help of so many giving me incentive, I began to see amazing results from my efforts.

So, as Clint Eastwood (my favorite actor) says, and as I say to all of you, "GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!" ---because you all do, every day!

Erin :)!

I enjoyed your post this morning. I was sorry to read about your arm but I am glad that you are healed. I would like to make my day but getting my website straight. It is just little things that have to be done. That's okay because then that will make my next website better. I am glad you are back, and you came back even stronger which is great.

Mary

Your site will progress the more passionate about it that you are! I appreciate your kind words!

So glad you healed...and are active here in WA!!!

Yes, and even so, sometimes I feel like I have run a marathon! Hee hee!

I broke my heel bone in Sept of last year. Did not take a step until Jan. Started back on my site in Jan, has been improving every day.
Your ability to get up and keep going will determine if you are going to be successful in life, you will always have things that slow you down.

You inspired me I was about to get on here today and give up. This site is really hard to navigate for a person that has had multiple head injuries but reading your post somehow changed my outlook on today. I will start fresh rewrite my blog on my website and shake it off. Thank you for sharing your post. Have a terrific day.

I am so very thankful to hear your words and am so glad I made a difference in your day, my friend! May I use your beautiful comment in another inspirational blog post? That would be awesome! I wish you all the best and PLEASE let me know if I can be of any help at all to you as you progress!

Yes you may us anything of mine. I have a question. I wrote a rather long blog on my website but I think I accidentally popped out of it before it posted is that blog gone or can I still access it. This dang traumatic brain injury sure makes the computer frustrating! Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you

OMGosh, I did the same thing just yesterday! Luckily, the program saves it! PHEW!!

Go to "Write a blog," click on it and you will see in the upper right a list of your drafts. Click on your blog and continue! I already wrote 3 blogs tonight and it won't let me post the one I included your comment in, so, I will send it to you tomorrow. Talk to you again soon and happy to be following you!

See you around!

Hi Erin, I think she said that she wrote a blog to her website...

Hi Christine,

It's very rare that any writing here at WA gets lost. Did you write your blog in Site Rubix=>Site Content? If you didn't publish it, it must be still among your unpublished articles. Go back, make sure you are in "unpublished" tab. You should see the header (thumbnail) of your post. Click on it to open.

If it doesn't look like your latest version, click on the revisions number in the right bottom corner, where it says "autosaved... [number] revisions" Choose the one that has highest word count.

Good luck!

~ Julia

I thought you meant you wrote one here. My bad! Have you figured out if it was saved yet? If you go to the Posts (or Pages) where your blog was, check the deleted box and click undo. It may be there.

Yes, I saw that and re-responded.

Lovely post Erin!

Thanks so much! :)!

Breaking a humerous bone, doesn’t sound funny at all!!

Wayne

It wasn't, of course, haha--just the opposite!

I know just a bit of Wayney humour at your expense. I’m sure it wasn't pleasant!!

Is this Erin or Clint Eastwood? Make my day punk! Go ahead!

Happy weekend!

Wayne

I know, Wayne. It's funny you made that joke, because the first time I went to the hospital, the doctor said basically the same thing! Ha ha!
