Developing Your Own Strategic Mindset

Last Update: January 31, 2019

YOU ARE MORE SKILLED THAN YOU MAY THINK!

Have you been blogging for months, or maybe even years, and can't seem to grow your audience, no matter what you do? Or, maybe you've tried endless ways to promote your blog, but nothing at all has worked as of yet? So, why then, are things not going your way?

Trying different strategies and tactics may eliminate the ways that aren't working for you. But, that is taking so much time, and you would rather be making profits.

Some bloggers that have millions of monthly visitors, put most of their effort into promoting only a single strategy. They are considered to be super bloggers.

However, the only thing they do differently is that they have found what worked and then did it over and over again until the money started to come in. Then, they upped their game even more! They figured out what felt right to them and what delivered the most results.

It is the process of elimination.

Then, they developed their own language of relating to their visitors, creating great trust.

So, what is their golden strategy? It's nothing magic---it's just that they write tons of sharable and helpful content, molding it all in to their own personal style of writing. They worked out their own strategic plan that worked. Pure and simple.

TRIED-AND-TRUE STRATEGIES.

Your content should have a fresh approach with subjects that are trendy, interesting and can solve a problem. Using tons of images on your posts with image and alt tags, as well as and having a high word count of 1,000+ words, will expand your audience. Also, make sure you work on all aspects of SEO. That means to fill in the alt tags, title, description, keyword or keyword phrase, image tags, etc.

This will take a little research, but it will be well worth it in the long run! Whatever you do now to perfect your business, will advance it into the future.---Planting seeds for future growth!

You can gather the certain aspects of those strategies you've done that were tried-and-true, and eliminate all the weak points of them. Narrowing down what doesn't work will progress the things that do. There are so many different directions you can go with this.

PUBLISHING MORE OFTEN THAN NOT.

The more frequently you publish your writing, the greater the opportunity to promote your posts. If you are in the experimental period of your business, you will soon see that you are getting closer to that one breakthrough blog. You know, the one that goes to #1 on Google and becomes viral? In football terms, it is like the touchdown of blogging!

Increasing your writing frequency with good solid content will get Google to notice and rank you up.

SO, WHAT KIND OF CONTENT SHOULD YOU WRITE?

I have followed several entrepreneurs here at WA that are having great success writing content. What do they write, you ask?

  • REVIEW / COMPARISON REVIEWS
  • HOW TOs
  • PROMOTIONAL POSTS
  • POSTS WITH INTRIGUE

In other words---INFORMATIVE POSTS---and using their own style of writing.

WRITING IS FUN, YET TIRING.

I have been constantly writing for the past couple weeks, since I finished my 7,000 word MMO Guide and email campaign. My SiteContent platform has over 83,000 words written, some of which were for my other sites.

SUMMING UP MY PROGRESS.

  • Traffic is on the rise.
  • Email subscribers are opting in.
  • I'm getting some referrals. (my main focus)
  • Yes, the more I write quality content, the more progress is made.

SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!

Whenever you write a post, SHARE IT! Put it on FB, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pin all your photos from that post in Pinterest.

We all have the strategic mindset to write great content. Use your imagination to flourish!

AFTER ALL, WE ARE WHAT WE WRITE!

Keep it up! And, put the "personal touch" into what you write!

When you "get to know your writing," it will develop a certain "flair," making it all your own!

Great post Erin.

I think I sometimes have a tendency to overcomplicate things... You've just given me a good reminder to keep it (relatively) simple! ;)

Thanks for that!

All the best,
Michael

Yes, that is part of human nature, I guess, Michael. Forming a method all your own from your heart, mind and soul, will progress you along to the "stardom" we ALL seek!
