I found my car keys!
Have you ever lost your keys? There are times when we are sure we left them in one place. But they are not there. So we start searching. And more than twice, we go back to the place where we think the keys should be. A thinking loop is very similar.
When trying to come up with content ideas, we can fall into a thinking loop. One of the things that have helped me is to take my mind off the task. Go out for a walk. Take a bath. And then come into the process again. But with a fresh approach this time.
Once a pun a time:
Saying “khakis” is saying “car keys” with a Boston accent. Try it. Say it out loud.
Henry: I can’t find my car keys.
Olivia: Wearing them.
Henry: No, not my car keys, my khakis. Blimey, I have to explain everything.
Olivia: Look no need to get cocky.

I manage not to lose my car keys, these days. But, there were times when they were mislaid. Most annoying!
I enjoyed your post, Henry.
Thank you.

Hi Valerie,
Yeah, figuring a way not to lose them saves us those unpleasant moments.
I am glad you liked the post. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a comment. I wish you all the best with your sites.
For the car keys - I would definitely stop until I found them as I would not be looking for them if I did not have somewhere to go.
For khakis, I would look briefly and then, select another pair.
I suppose I might do the same if I owned multiple vehicles - but I do not.
