Success is no accident. ...

I truly believe nothing is impossible. This is what spurs me on through whatever hardship, disappointments and trials life has to throw my way. I can see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That's me in a nutshell.

I have reached a stage in my life where I'm more determined than ever to pursue a project that I've embarked on and not to drop it after a few months just to move onto the next on, once I'm back in the mood again. I've just not been very passionate about any of them until now.

Trying affiliate marketing a few years ago, the course I purchased walked me through building the website to function and look identical to the one displayed in the course. It taught me how to add affiliate links and where to look for product categories etc., but in the end I gave up because I just didn't have enough information to succeed at it. There were so many pieces missing. I then tried selling on Amazon with the assistance of their Fulfillment Centre but that was a total disaster. I didn't quite follow instructions for purchasing a test product so it didn't sell very well. Bought too many of them and wasted a lot of money and rather than carrying on, I knocked it on the head.

Affiliate marketing and setting up a website to attract interested customers to purchase through my links, have appealed to me from my very first endeavor with affiliate marketing, so a few weeks ago I googled to see what training was out there for me to have another shot at it. I was very close to parting, yet again, with my hard-earned cash because they sold their training very well, but decided to see what others had to say; there was bad reviews about it every where and people went as far as calling it a scam; as part of one of the reviews, Wealthy Affiliate was recommended instead. When I researched it, all the remarks were very positive, so I decided to give it a go, not knowing what to really expect.

The community is amazing

The first thing I noticed when I signed up was surprisingly how much information and training was given away, including the free websites. I have been on many online training courses and have never come across one such as this. The community is amazing and so are the owners. Once I had dug into course 1, on the second day I decided to purchase my own website and to go premium. I took advantage of a very big discount by taking up the annual membership offer and have peace of mind knowing the training is paid for upfront for the year.

Although writing this blog post was the second task in course 2, I had to leave it until last because I have never written so many blogs in my life(the first time to be honest), I needed a break and this one is the easiest by far. The blogs on my website called for some type of strategy and organization. I will be starting course 3 once this blog is completed, which I'm thoroughly enjoying writing.

My accomplishments

I have accomplished more than I thought was possible in such a short space of time and feeling quite professional at the craft even though I know I haven't even scratched the surface yet! I'm filled with enthusiasm; the extensive training and abundance of support has played a big part in this.

I'm powering through and can definitely see myself being fairly successful in the area of affiliate marketing if I continue each day working hard towards this goal, learning and applying what I have learned.

I really enjoyed reading your post, Henry, and I can relate very much to your experience. This course finally feels like the real thing where all the gaps are filled. So you get equipped with everything you need to succeed and it's up to you to make use of the wealth of information and resources. I'm convinced we all can be successful if we persevere.

Hi Sammy, I very much appreciate you taking the time to read my very first blog in the members' area. Yes Kyle and Carson are the genuine article and are practicing what they preach, in that they have us the customer's on mind and have gone out(and still going) of their way to give as much as they possibly can, which in return, they are being greatly rewarded. Take care Sammy.

Hi Henry, You are doing great and glad you are enjoying it here at WA.
Jenny

HI Jenny, Thank you for reading my first blog post on here. Yes the training is very enjoyable. There's plenty of assignments to keep us developing along nicely. Take care.

Great Post Hennry, I enjoyed reading it very much and its good to know you are doing well in here, there is so much to learn, we are shown how to set up our business, then through the training, how to become
A) Elite Marketers
B) How to take additional training out in to the market place locally and help others, using a skill that is easy to learn, yet so very few will use, simply because they are not here.

Hi Dave. I've very pleased you enjoyed my post. I left it until last because I wasn't sure what I was going to put in it, but its not very difficult talking about ourselves is it.

Thank you for the information. It is very encouraging. I see you have completed all 5 courses, in such a very short time too! You've given me a lot to eagerly look forward to because I still have no idea what I'll be studying until I'm actually doing it. The training is a little different and fresh, from other interactive courses I've taken and always a joy doing the lessons in each one.

I'm looking forward in becoming one of the comparatively very few elite marketers online.

You'll find that you will evolve into a niche, as you work through the training Hennry...

Great post, im glad to hea your doing well with this! there is a lot of training here and support to help you a long the way.

Thank you for taking the time to read my first blog post on here. I wasn't sure what to write at first but once in the flow. it was quite easy. There was more to say about the training but I wanted to keep it as short as possible and it was long enough. Take care.

Awesome first-time post. Just take your time and let the training sink in and you will be fine and you are going to be successful at this. I am glad to meet you and glad that you joined WA.

Mary

Thank you Mary. That's very much appreciated and spurs me on. I have read profiles of others whom had rushed through the training, then left the course thinking they were ready but decided to come to start over or to continue with their training, but at a much slower pace. Take care.

You are welcome I have gone through my training and because I have a comprehension problem I have to go back through the training again. That is okay because then I go to Bootcamp next.

Mary

Mary, I didn't realise you had responded to me, sorry. I was looking through this section again to see whether I had missed any messages. We are not alerted when we get new responses in certain parts of this site and it takes a little bit of time to find our way around. I find most folk have to go over the material very carefully and even go over some sections again; I have read of others returning to do the course all over again because they rushed through it and then left to go and do their own thing only to realise they had not fully comprehended what was being taught. There's a heck of a lot to learn, but they make it easy for us to follow and at our own pace, which is the best part about it.

Not a problem yes there is a lot to learn that is why I am going over the training once again because I missed a lot of information but you are right it is easy for us to follow which is great and at own pace which is also great. Best wishes in your endeavors with WA.
