My name is Steven Kopeke but I'm more commonly known as Jim. I live in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand, with my wife and three daughters. I'm a maintenance technician (mechanical) in the engineering industry.
My drive is to learn, action and succeed with the help of the WA community.
HemiK's Goals 3
Money Goals
1
Money I would be happy earning
Financial freedom and time freedom a my major goals, so a 6 figure income would certainly achieve that at this stage.
2
Money I would be ecstatic earning
7 figures
3
Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals
As much as is necessary, as a greenhorn that firmly believes that the internet is the means to achieving my goals I'm depending upon this community to inform me as to what the necessary time investment needs to be... Bearing in mind I'll still be full-time working until I'm able to transition into full-time internet marketing.

And how much time are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?

Hi Steven, love your goals. Sounds like you are very determined.

Pin your goals up in your work area and look at them each day, it's awesome. Date it as well. Focus on them and they will come true.

Personally, I think it helps to write out my goals, give short and long term goals.

Then stay dedicated to working hard to reach those goals on a daily basis.

Even though you're working full time, you need to be willing to put in the extra time to learn and build.

Makes sense?

Sticking to these types of goals are what has really helped me get started and has lead to much of my online success.

That and the education, support, and guidance offered here at WA.

All's it takes to reach your goals is to follow the training courses and take action on what you learn, work consistently with a positive energy and you'll make it.

I'm certainly glad I followed the WA training on a daily basis.

I now have a great online business that works for me 24/7, even when I'm sleeping.

I wish you nothing but the same kind of success,
Todd

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Thanks Todd, yep your right about the niche thing mate and so I'm making a few changes with activities that I'm committed to currently to free up more time after work, so I can really immerse myself in this process so I'll definitely lean on the WA community for assistance and advice when I can knuckle down and rock this thing!!
Thanks Todd you were the catalyst so I'll definitely be gleaning of you buddy.

Cheers Jim.
P.S. I'll have to amend my profile a little Steven is my first name but I've always been known as Jim ;-) lol

Right on Jim,

Thanks for the update and I think that sounds like a good plan. Once you know how to do keyword research and target content/manage your website, you can expand however you like.

I know there's a lot of info, but when you can, check out the list of webinars in the Live Video Classes section.

Still go through the daily classes, but also try to add one of those per week if possible. I think it helps connect everything a bit better.

I'm here when you need a hand.

Hi Steven,

I see that you got your account set up here at WA. Congrats!

I really believe the key to this business is designating a set amount of time to your education.

If you consistently work on the Getting Started course, you'll build your website and online business at the same time.

Here's one cool success story I want to share with you so you see that making money online is a reality. If you haven't started the Online Entrepreneur Certification Course - that's the place to start.

It'll take you through the whole process.

Just click the green "Get Started Here" button up on the left.

Best of luck and keep working towards your goals.

Hi Steven,

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate (WA).

My name is Todd and I referred you here to Wealthy Affiliate through my website http://LearnToGrowWealthOnline.com

I hope you really enjoy WA and take time to check them out, there's a ton of training and great info here.

Absorb it like a sponge.

I personally started by taking classes one day at a time and then simply took action on what I learned.

The results?

I couldn't be happier with my online business.

I Make Money While I Sleep. It's Awesome!

That being said, before you start making money, there are three things you need to know.

1) Those who ask questions and interact with the community are far more likely to learn faster and meet their financial goals.

- Watch this video here to learn how to maximize your community reach at WA.. 2) You can get started learning how to make money by doing your Level 1 Certification Course. Click on the green "Get Started Here" button or just click this link.. .

This is the first course on the Wealthy Affiliate Entrepreneur Program, and the next best step you can take.

This is where I started my online business and I think you'll be pleased with the results.

3) Don't be afraid to ask questions. WA is a super friendly community, especially to newbies, so there are no dumb questions here.

Remember that you can ask any question you want in live chat, on your personal blog, or in the Getting Started Classroom here..

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/getting-started

I'm going to follow you and here's my Wealthy Affiliate profile if you want to contact and/or follow me back.

Hey Todd thanks for the introduction to the WA community, I'm psyched to see where this can go and have a great feeling about this journey and the possibilities it contains.
I'll definitely ask the necessary questions but as a hands-on kinda guy I'm inclined to getting straight into implementing what I've learnt then if issues arise reach out for help.

Thanks again Jim

That's exactly the way to do it Steven. I like to take it one day at a time, be open to learning, and then take action.

But know that you always have support here through the community and myself.

Have a great day and go for it!
Todd
