Things Are Looking Up

Today, I am in a good mood. It contrasts the nagging headache I had last night, which, thanks be to the Lord has gone away! (Yes, I am a man of religion). I also just got done with orientation for a new job I am expected to start at some point next month, and it will be my first "big" job (one that actually puts my Bachelor's Degree to work!), so now I feel a little more dignified.

Along with that, I am learning how to do affiliate marketing through Wealthy Affiliate (wonderful educational site and integrated platform for website creation BTW, the premium account is worth every penny!).

Kyle is a good teacher, very plain spoken, does not get gimmicky, very down to earth, realistic, but good at giving people hope they can success in online sales. He is realistic and does not sell bullshit. Pardon my French, I had to get into some St. Louis lingo here. There is a lot of it that floats around on the internet. I really appreciate the work and passion he puts into some of his websites helping people navigate around pyramid schemes, scams, get-rich-schemes, and snake oil and find authentic authentic business and wealth creation ideas and how to do well in them.

Today, I am grateful to many things.

First and foremost...

1. God. I will not get too much into religion here, but I as an Orthodox Christian, I will express myself here.

Then :

2. The people who were praying for me and my success and the Saints and Passion Bearers I have made intercession to.

3. The opportunities afforded to me by Wealthy Affiliate.

4. The staffing company that worked around the clock to help me get hired at my new job.

5. Waking up alive, well rested, and on two feet.

6. This beautiful day. It is sunny here, but a little hot. I am not a fan of Indian Summers, I don't like them actually, I want it to be cool and mild during this time of year in St. Louis. Nonetheless, it still looks nice out.

7. My cousin, who advised me to learn some coding/computer programming back in June. I am taking some beginner-level Python courses, now I know some elementary knowledge of Python and fundamental knowledge of programing in general. The same cousin is also getting married this month.

8. My innate curiosity, that has led me into many of the things I am doing now.

9. My willingness to cut out some old habits. My will power is a lot better than it was about ten years ago, when I was easily pressured into doing stuff against my well (I didn't have a will to speak of back then). My experiences through out my 20s increased that. There were good times, bad times, and just downright weird times in my 20s, but it is what it is. Now I am in my 30s, and I have decided to get serious with stuff.

10. Me deactivating my Facebook. It is actually very helpful. I might create a new "Vanilla" facebook account that only has people I know at least decently well in real life, and maybe a few really close and "optics-enhancing" online friends. I may log into my current Facebook account (that has well over 1,000 "friends") as a way to advertise my webpages, especially my "Tactical Future" page.

All in all, today has been a good day. No headaches, now it is mostly optimism.
