I Have Just Turned 50 Years Old Today - Half a Century Young!
Hey hey y'all... I am 50 today! Where are my presents? 😃I hope y'all are having a fantastic Saturday/weekend/birthday with me!
I can't freakin believe I am half a century old lol, I feel and look about 25, I think. I often tell my wife I have excellent eyesight, and yesterday, for the first time, I amazed her by spotting something in the distance that she could not believe. So, I told her, "you see, I always tell you facts" 😆🤣
I would like to grow old gracefully without any or many health issues. We are health-conscious and eat healthy foods, and we exercise regularly. In fairly good physical shape!

Hey Roy,
It has been a hectic week, on my last legs with a deadline for some clients which is tomorrow. It was a series of YouTube videos we have to do for some clients, and also a mini course for another client. Everything went smoothly, but this one last video has a B-roll clip of over 9 minutes, and synchronising the B-roll with the script was a daunting task.

It's good that you have work to do, Hein, but it sounds like you are under a bit of pressure. Although, I edit my own videos, like everyone, I'm still learning how to do things, I try and learn new things on a regular basis, when it comes to video editing. But trying to synchronise scripts and what have you, I can imagine it can be quite time-consuming, as you want it to be right for the client. I hope that by now you have completed the task.

The problem is that the B-roll clip of 9 minutes was shorter than my script, so that made it very hard to synchronise it. I think in the end we managed to get it 95% accurate, which isn't too bad.
I understand where you're coming from, Hein, sometimes things that seem relatively simple, can be extremely difficult. I'm glad that you were able to reach the mark.

It is awesome that you are feeling half of your age. I don't feel my age as well. I try to live a healthy lifestyle which isn't as easy as people think. Many of our foods are not as healthy for us as you think, even fresh fruit and veggies are not as healthy as they used to be.

Its great you are feeling perky at turing 50. Many people become a little depresed when they reach that age.

Yeah, many people do have their mid-life crisis around 50 or so. My ex has hers around her 40th birthday. That is when she decided she wanted to test the single life again. For me, I don't see why people think being single is such a great time of life

People only seem to be or pretend to be happy being single when they are not able to sustain a healthy relationship and live in denial.
