I Don't Make Mistakes Often

...but when I do, I realize that I didn't.
Okay, that is meant to be funny and clickbait so that you would read here. The last time I tried humor in my blog, it did not land. It floated. So, please do not respond with admonishments to be humble.
This post is about my current niche and why I am choosing another.
A few months ago, I asked in one of the classes, “Is it possible to run out of keywords?” The answer was “no.” I was told that in addition to writing about my niche, I could also write product reviews. I should also continue to use Jaaxy for researching keywords.
I am currently promoting elderberry as a health supplement because my mission is to offer tools to help people boost their immune systems and live healthy lifestyles.
I, later, wrote a blog about why I felt I was running out of keywords. I received many suggestions and comments. Many people sent lists of possible keywords.
Even though I appreciate the suggestions, a lot of the keywords offered did not address elderberry use as a health supplement. For those that did, the traffic for them amounted to little or nothing. Or, I had already blogged those keywords.

I have written blogs for keywords that get some traffic and for some that do not.
Here Is What Is Significant About Elderberries
They are very high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. They are rich in anthocyanins and protect cells from free radicals. They have been used for centuries to ward off sickness and disease.
In almost every blog, I am promoting the supplemental use of them as syrup, juice, gummies, tincture, or tea. Telling my audience the benefits is important so that they will know how it helps.
Once I give this information, there is not much new that I can write about elderberries. So, the same information is repeated regarding the benefits...though I add images and change the style and wording.
I say to myself, “Self! Perhaps Google does not see anything new in your posts from others on the internet because once you give information about elderberry benefits, you're repeating it in each post.”
It must be the same with other bloggers and elderberry sites because the medicinal benefit of elderberries is in the public domain.
Consequently, most of my posts have not been indexed. Insert sad face here.
I am in two affiliate programs because Amazon dropped me. (Good riddance to them.) I have found but one other. I have written product reviews for everything that they sell using elderberries.
I have had wise counsel from a few more experienced affiliates who agree that I, alas, have chosen a very narrow niche and one that is less profitable. In the profound wisdom of TheCatherine, some niches are more profitable than others.
The suggestion that appears to be the path that I will now venture along is to expand on elderberries to healthy living. In doing this, I will be able to use my blogs from my current website. I feel encouraged and excited about this decision.
I have been advised to review everything that Partha and many others have posted regarding keywords and writing content. I am in the process of doing that.
My mental acuity is in overdrive as my revised journey continues. Please wish me well on this new path.
