One Month Progress

Well I have been a member of WA for a little over a month now. I've got my website up and running with a fair number of posts and a pretty good number of comments. I'm pretty happy with the progress going on for my low carb lifestyle site. Unfortunately I have not had an affiliate buys yet. I do have a little under 2.00 on my Google Adsense account based on ad views, which I thought was awesome! I am certainly glad for WA, or else I think it would definitely be a lot hard to drive any type of traffic to my site. I believe the majority of my traffic is due to the comment blog here, which I am very grateful for. I do have some organic search results showing up on my analytics, so that is heartening.

I'm glad I chose a niche that I was passionate about. I think that is the most important thing in all of this. I find myself becoming completely enthralled in the whole process of getting good material for my food blog and getting pictures and videos and things of that nature. I love cooking and figuring out new ways of cooking healthy and low carb food, so I could do it all day long. Although I've been promoting my site on Google+, Pinterest, Facebook, and the other big social media names, the progress there has been a little slow, but i'm still just moving along.

I am considering looking into trying on some other new niches that I have some passion for. From what i've been reading here and some other places, that is the best way of starting to bring in some kind of income. I also think that I may need to work on targeting my audience and finding more profitable products to promote.

All in all I am very grateful for WA. I'm glad I decided to join the premium community. I've gotten further in doing anything on building a website here in one month than I have for my entire life. I believe I am headed in the right direction, and I will keep pushing along.
