Discontinued Embeds
Have you any Facebook or Instagram images, features or content embedded in the WordPress Gutenberg or Classic Editor? If so, you need to take action now.
From 24 October, 2020, due to the discontinued API (Application Programming Interface), any Facebook or Instagram embeds, future or existing, will disappear and be shown as a blank space.
Can you avoid the embeds disappearing? If you are a programmer you can develop your own API, but for most, plugins are the answer. Two highly popular free plugins which will solve the problem are the Smash Balloon Instagram Feed plugin and Custom Facebook Feed plugin. You can download both here:
