Speeding up Elementor

Greetings everyone,

I have discovered the best way to speed up my Elementor website. Firstly I optimized the website pictures and made the images maximum 1200px wide and 1200px high. Then I compressed the images with Smush pro and made the images lazy load.

Then I tried out to optimize the website with Hummingbird Pro but it didn't work so well with Elementor. Therefore I decided to watch some YouTube videos about the subject.

After watching some videos for a while I discovered two great plugins:

  1. WP Rocket - This made the site super fast and I switched on cashing.
  2. Asset CleanUp - When I activated this plugin the site got even faster.

I hope this advice may help some of you.

Not sure I'm ready for these steps yet but I'm sure glad you guys make me aware of what's out there and ways that my site can be improved.

Thanks for sharing.

I use elementor, and don't have any speed issues with the builder itself. Sounds like optimizing your images made the difference.
I've heard of WP Rocket plugin, yet am not familiar with the asset cleanup.

Check your site at gtmetrix.com. With WP Rocket everything gets improved if you set all the settings correctly.

Thanks, I'll bookmark the link.
