What Can A Newbie Do In 90 Days?

Kia Ora, From New Zealand friends and colleagues.

Today marks exactly 90 days since I accidentally stumbled on a link that brought me to WA.

Yes 90 days ago I was a newbie, and now I am a newbie with 90 days knowledge and experience of WA, and what it can offer to anyone willing to exploit, this offer, to the best of their own abilities.

Context

I am 61 years old and I am just one year away (May 2021) from the end, of what will be a relatively successful, 46 year career, in an IT and Communications related environment.

Before finding WA I had been a freelance content writer, on and off, for about a decade, writing content for others to populate their websites. The money for this was okay, but not great, and that was okay, because I never had to depend on it, as I was in a receipt of a good government salary, throughout that time.

Change in Plan

I had decided some time ago, that when my current service contract ends, in May 21, that I would not be seeking a job working for someone else, for what will be, probably, my last decade of employment. Instead, I would take all of my transferable skills and experience, and adapt them to something else.

To that end I have been developing 4 flexible streams of income, one of which is already established and passive in nature. Two are well-developed and on track to achieve the target date and the fourth is what I am now doing at WA with my commercial Blogs.

Wealthy Affiliate

I have given myself until May 2021 to get into a position where I work from home, with WA as one of my foundational income streams.
As you can see I am quite well-organised, very motivated and I plan thoroughly. Part of this is genetic, part of it is training and conditioning, and part of it is just life experience and necessity.

What I have achieved here in 90 days, is achievable by everyone, but not everyone will achieve it, and that is okay, each will go at their own pace.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS TO MOVE FORWARD EVERY DAY AND DO ONE THING IN YOUR BUSINESS EVERY DAY

90 Day Statistics

This is just an illustration of the possible, it is not what everyone should, or needs to do and I make it available for my NEWBIE colleagues by way of a pointer or inspiration to the art of the possible:

  • 13 Jan clicked on WA Link, registered and embarked on free trial, was so impressed that I went premium within the hour (LoL)
  • 30 Jan I had built two websites, written over 30,000 words, of keyword rich content, between 25 articles, and I had both sites indexed on Google.
  • By 13 Apr
    • 3 Websites built
    • Made first position first page on Google and Bing with two websites
    • Over 94,000 words written
    • 75, keyword rich content, articles posted
    • WA referrals and conversions starting to occur
    • Money? A modest amount not quite enough to pay my monthly subscription, but close, and I had always determined that money would not be my focus, though it is clearly important. I will concern myself with money at the 180-day point if things are not moving along by then.

More Work

I feel that I have a great WA fuelled foundation established. I am only too aware that there is much yet to do, and equally much yet to learn, but I am reminded of some favourite Winston Churchill's words which have applied to so many episodes in my life:

Next 90 Days

I am genuinely excited and looking forward to continuing the learning experience, honing my writing skills further, and getting more good quality content on to my 3 websites ( I have a cool idea for a fourth LoL).

I have my sights set on my May 21 objective and on qualifying for Vegas in 2021, and who knows what might happen before then?

Thank You

Finally I want to say a big thank you to all those who have helped and encouraged me in my first 90 days, and in particular to all those in my personal network who keep popping up and providing words of support.

I have made some great virtual friendships already with some really cool WA dudes LoL

I wish everyone here the success that they wish for themselves and that they are prepared to work for.

Newbies

I hope that my newbie colleagues, in particular, will have found this of some use, and hopefully even encouraging, in keeping us focused on the prize, that we are all ultimately pursuing, and that we all have the potential to win.

Good afternoon from New Zealand, friends and colleagues

I am an IT person as well, but also LOVE keeping healthy as I start to get older! I am having a difficulty choosing a niche, lol. I will work towards this so it comes together for me as successsfully it seems to have happened for you. Gotta go to work now and do the IT thing :-) Cheers!

Try this Tara,

I wrote it for newbies and it may be helpful good luck:

Great job Hamlisch!!! I would love to get some tips and ideas with my sites, as yours is very impressive. I just signed up as a premium member at WA yesterday and started the bootcamp so I’m excited and ready to get things going like you. Hope to learn from you and build a lasting friendship.

Best regards,
Bryan

You are very welcome indeed, enjoy your WA experience its a great place to be, stay in touch and good luck with your projects🧐

This is awesome, big brother. Truly inspiring and the lift I needed today to get myself going. Honestly, I'd been at my desk on my phone all morning because I think the gravity of my circumstance, 'Oh boy, I just bought into the subscription yesterday with a very limited income and the clock is ticking for me to make some kind of difference to start building an income and keep it growing.' But reading your post has gotten me out of this little funk I was having trouble shaking on my own.

I am ecstatic with admiration and inspiration from your story and it reminds me that it is possible if I just stop over-thinking and trying to find the perfect route to take to avoid any mistakes or fallacies. I have a hard time remembering that it is inevitable: we all drop the ball, make mistakes, and fail but failure is the father of learning, as repetition is the mother. I've saved and printed your blog and posted it on my corkboard at the head of my desk so I can see it whenever I look up while I'm sitting here, I hope you don't mind. Thank you for sharing your journey because I'm sure it's helped many many more aside from just myself.

Hope to have the pleasure of working with you one day in the future, sir, and keep aiming for greatness.

If it fires your cylinders you go right ahead William that is exactly why I wrote it good luck stay in touch🧐

that is quite impressive.
Thanks for sharing our story.
You are such a great inspiration.
Watch me closely right behind your heels.
If you look behind too long, you might find yourself having to watch my heels as we match forward.
Looking forward to meeting you in Las Vegas in 2021.
