Make mistakes!
So, if you find yourself in the same position I am (as a beginner), then probably you are struggling to follow some of the steps because they simply look a bit different or you decided to do what somebody was suggesting in a blog so... you may feel all over the place.
Well, it really doesn't matter I am sure we'll get there at the end, in the meantime don't feel frustrated because YOU ARE LEARNING more about what not to do, and this my fellow WA is as valuable as starting an experiment to reinvent the glue and ending up with a super additive to reinforce concrete.
Redirect your efforts and keep focusing on giving shape to your website. A useful thought for you is imagining you are a customer visiting your website..what experience do you want them to have? Slowly but surely take note of your ideas, prioritise what is essential and remember that a common belief when you are starting is to put soo many details ...the thing is your customer won't find what you want them to and you'll lose them.
Keep it simple but keep those ideas flowing.
