Hard work beats religion

I am not a religious person but am also not an atheist. This topic article originated when I was reading a sports interview and commentary. The winning athlete "thanked god" about 5 times and the whole time I'm thinking, "thank yourself, you did it, thank your coaches for helping you, thank the people that actually helped you". YOU earned your success, it is credited to YOU.

This topic confuses me to point where I question human intelligence. Why do we have to credit our successes to the good voice in our heads? For example, I could win a triathlon and at the end say " I thank full for my lucky word "bacon" helping me win the race". When you break it down to a third-grade level thanking god and bacon is pretty much the same thing, both words with letters, they mean a lot to some and little to others. It is honestly whatever you use to push your mind to better push your body.

On WA, I often see profile saying " I thank god for this amazing opportunity to become successful". Not to be blunt, but thank Kyle and Carson, they should get the credit and thank yourself for doing the hard work as well!

In the end, all I'm ranting about is to HAVE SOME SELF RELIANCE!

- you have a successful business=thank yourself and all the others who actually helped you

- you have a beautiful family= thank your partner, your parents, your genetics, your family tree, etc

see where I am going? Be logical, we as human being are advancing every day, but our mindset is not, our beliefs are not.

Yes the person did it but not without the hand of the Most High pushing them forward. I am not religious nor atheist either, and I don't want to get into a debate about religion or the Most High, but that's just my opinion on this topic.

This is a really interesting post, True what you say.
