A Most Beautiful Welcome - My First Post!
Well, it's been over a month now since my introduction to this WA community, and as I've begun to get comfortable in this new home, I've found so many people with a great capacity to encourage, to lend a helping hand, to teach and to care. For the last couple of weeks I've wrestled with ideas for my first post to those of you I've begun to know and those I've yet to get acquainted with, but nothing really captured my attention until late Sunday night as my fiancé and I got settled into our hotel room that will be our "home" for this week of specialized treatments for my health condition.
On the bed pillow, there lay a laminated card, about six by eight inches, with a most beautiful message of welcome, a message so far-reaching in its scope that it reminded me of the welcome I received when I first came on board here at WA. It's the reception I see every day as new members make the decision to take a different path in their lives, and it's always heartwarming to experience this reaching out, again and again.
To Kyle and Carson... a very deep thanks for creating this community and for continuing to nurture its growth and sustenance. And to all who read these words, I hope you feel as I do that this message is a reflection of the intent here at Wealthy Affiliate--may you prosper while you're here and "may these days be pleasant for you … helpful for those you meet, and a joy to those who know and love you best."
