After I add a category in a Post, how do I get that Post to be part of that Category?

Hello Gerry, once you have created the categories, pages and posts. Log in to your website and on the left hand side you will see an appearance tab click on that. You will see a Menu tab, click on that. Under Menus, create your menu and list your categories. After that under edit menus, you list your pages and posts make sure you select all and on the left on side save all. Now on the right hand side you can position those pages under the categories. Once complete remember to save .

Okay, I have that down.
How do I position or move a Review(Post) under the category(Page)?
Also, Kyle said it is best to use the Url, so there are not too many affiliate links on our web site.
Thank you

Hello Gerry, on the right hand side of the menu page you should now see everything, categories, pages or posts. Now all you have to do is hold on to the page you wish to move and move it under the category you wish. Make sure you indent it a little to the right. When you have moved all the pages and posts where you want, click on Save menu.

You need to add those categories, ie. Reviews, somewhere, ie. to your menu. Then when you click on Reviews, only posts with that category will be listed.

okay, thank you

No probs. you're most welcome! :)

I wrote a review of a product and put in as a Post.
I would also like to put it into the Review page.
Any ideas?
thank you, Gerry

No need to make a page but you wish if you want, there are plugins to do the job in seconds.

But you can just add the post in the main menu, it will be there like any page, there is no difference.

Go to Appearance, Menus, Posts, chose the post, Add to menu, then drag and drop where you want it. Save menu after that,

thank you

You apply categories to your posts ie. "News" "Reviews" and then add those categories to your menu. When you click on News, only posts with that category will be listed.
