What is your story?
Most of us have a story about how we got to be the way we are, about what it's like to be 'us,' and about why it is so difficult sometimes to get through life. All of this is stuff that has nothing to do with who we are now.
How often do you 'come from' your 'story' when you experience life. Are you ready to let go of that now? What if you could create 'you' the way you want to be, rather than the way you think you are? Wouldn't that be great? Well, you can. All you have to do is let go of your story.~ Neale Donald Walsch

This message was in my inbox this morning. It hits a the core of my commitment to working with people at the grassroots level and why I believe that WA is the best pathway for people to change their story and share that with the world.
Living in and traveling throughout rural Oklahoma gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of people over the last 18 months. First and foremost, every single person has a story, it is part of the human experience. However, most people are living the story that was given to them by others, including family, society, media, schools or any other outside agency that already had a role in mind for the person.
There is a small percentage of folks who, like me, are born ready to write their own story, but that's an uncommon occurrence, especially in small towns. One of the purposes of The Grassroots Marketplace is to help people rewrite their story to reflect their true self and goals and, once that is underway, I will use The Grassroots Chronicles is to tell those folks' stories to the world.
So, where does WA come in? It is the way to broadcast those stories to the world, not only telling the stories, but linking them to all those people out there who can relate. And, using Amazon and other affiliate programs to bring the market together around an individual, thereby empowering this new story they've lived to help build community far beyond their little town, connecting them to opportunity and underscoring why it's so important to write a story of your life that is truly your own.
So, what's your story?
