My Progress And Results With WA So Far
Hi. I'm at the point in the training (completing level 2) Where I write my first blog post about my progress so far. My successes, my set backs and my future goals.
I've been involved with WA for a little while now and really feel I'm learning a lot. I think Kyle and Carson have created something really cool here and the training and help I've received has been great. If I've had any problems (which there has been a few) I've seemed to manage to get help, by either someone from the community, or by Kyle himself. So for that I say thanks, and for anyone having problems with the learning, do reach out for help. It's there, you just have to ask for it.
Progress So Far
So far I have created my website aceguitarworld.com I've learned to do all the things the training has taught so far. Domain registration, figuring out a theme, posts, pages, links, writing content, adding pictures and much more. Mostly I've followed the action steps required and have had the opportunity to meet people, ask for help (get help) and pay it forward by giving advice to help others. Which is one of my goals, to help others succeed as I succeed myself.
Our Learning Curve
As with anything we decide to learn in life, there is a learning curve we have to go through. And this can be a bit frustrating at times. I am going through this right now (as I'm sure everyone else is) and finding that some things come easier than others. It's in human nature to stick with the familiar, the things that come easy. But this hinders our growth. It's sticking through the difficult passages of our learning that allow us to grow and feel good about what we've accomplished. So don't give up. Keep coming back to that which you can't figure out and you'll eventually see that your mind will find the answers.
Goals For The Next 3 Months
My goals for the next 3 months are to keep learning. But mostly not to get distracted by other information on the internet. The problem with this kind of learning is the overload of information coming at you everyday. It makes it hard to stay focused. And if your like me where everything of value catches your interest, you tend to wander off. So My goal as of this writing (and I'd say make it a goal of yours too) Stay focused on the task at hand. Hey Dwayne love your site, our guitarist uses the gibson/marshall combo, I get distracted sometimes during practice when he has a solo, it's epic! Great post. Good luck with your goals too. Hope we can meet one day and have a jam!
