Diseased and Distressed.

Diseased is probably a bit of an over statement, but it pretty much sums up how I feel at the moment. Today is the first day in weeks where I've felt well enough to even look at my laptop, let alone get onto WA and pick up where I left off.

As it would happen, being under a 5 day quarantine for an infectious strain of the flu and walking pneumonia when you're 29 weeks pregnant, isn't the kind of peace and quiet in my life that I was hoping for. I wished for death to come (in a poetic sense), and instead, all I got was rubbery hospital food and my IV's flushed every hour.

The worst part? Call me a masochist, but all I want to do now is get back to normal life. I don't want to rest on the sofa or watch bad TV. I want to get back into putting up at least 2 new posts every week, to my job, and to looking after my home and family.

I just cannot seem to concentrate long enough to make sense of words.

It feels like an impossible task.

It also feels like I should have a cup of tea and try again later. Britain's solution to most things is a cup of tea, so why not?

Honey right now, the most important thing is you and your babies health. It is only a blip in time and then you can get back to your work on WA. I know that it is exciting stuff, and fun to work on, if you had a laptop that would be perfect because you could lay in bed and work on it at your own speed.

Please, just take care of yourself. I know what you are going through though. When my second baby, I got pneumonia and ended up in bed for it seemed like forever. I couldn't do anything and it was so boring. We did have computers then he was born in 1989.

Give yourself time to heal. That is your priority!!!!

I just can't seem to concentrate at all! I just end up fighting sleep or thinking about other things. The healing process it just taking too long!
