As we are a community I figured it would be good to share my idea and see what you all think.
I noticed on other social platforms you can view your connections, and there is usually a button you can press to quickly message them, which generates a same page message box so you are not taken to another screen.
It is only my opinion, however I believe this would increase community activity.

This sounds like a great idea and would definitely increase activity. People don't like to struggle and waste time. They want to get the deed done, so this is a great way to interact without wasting to much time.
