Take Time to Enjoy

I am writing this for the newbies. I still consider myself one, however I feel like I am getting beyond that stage, and wanted to share what it feels like to look back.

It feels like I didn't take time to enjoy what I was doing. I was rushing thru the lessons, and posting content, and commenting on people pages, and posting on FB, and Google plus, and chasing down rankings!!! WHEW that's a lot! It makes me a little anxious just writing it all down.

So what I want to share with you is that you really should take the time to enjoy what you are doing. This will help you a great deal in writing your content. Instead of writing fast in order to get that next post done, maybe write that post as a draft and wait till tomorrow. Your brain will continue to work on it and you will have even more to add the next day. Plus all those grammar errors you couldn't see the day before kind of stick out like a sore thumb.

In any case I thought id just take my own little time out and share what I was thinking, and enjoy what I have been doing. It has been a lot of fun, and I have gotten to meet lots of cool people!

I agree, grate post!

Thanks!

Amazing how each of us come in and in time how we develop into the person we have become on WA

That was pretty close to what I was thinking as I wrote. Thx for the comment.

Awesome stuff, Vic!

Thanks!

Great advice Vic, when I first started I would do the same thing. Rush through the training and trying to get everything done as fast as possible. Big mistake, now I'm starting over but this time I'm taking my time and get it right:)

I do envision a time maybe a year out when i am going to change niche's I didn't pick the best possible one for me, although juicing is a strong interest, I def have some other interests that would be fascinating to write about and research.

Sounds like a plan Vic, wish you all the best:)

If you enjoy what you are doing, it is not work.

I agree :)

Totally right, hope some of them take your advice. I rushed, came to the same conclusion as you, and started all over again. Last time I really enjoyed it anf realized I had missed a few importent stages....

hmm your the second person to talk about starting over, that concerns me a touch.. Like completely over, including niche?

No, no, no. First website (niche) is up and running and doing well. I just did the classes again, and then realized I had to do some small changes and add some stuff. If you rush you might lose some info, as I did,.

Oh good, was getting a touch worried. In fact I went back to my older stuff, and started adjusting!! lol I noticed a few of my first posts had no pics and stuff!! Its been a day of cleaning up loose ends and admin kind of stuff. Thanks for checking back and updating me. :)

Great advice Vic! :)

Thanks. :)

You're welcome!

You are right! You have to enjoy the ride!

Thanks for leaving a comment. :)

That's a great observation Rick, and to quote an old but tired saying "the totoise wins the race". Glyn

Thanks glyn

I most certainly went through that stage of wanting to get a module done and then start on another. I was not taking the time to read through the tutorials.
I now have paced my time so I can enjoy the lessons and work on my website. Internet marketing is a wide ocean and a wave of info can knock you -so you learn how to swim with the tide- Good to connect with you again

Thanks for the read, and the comment. :)
