I just wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to this group. I've been saying to myself that there has got to be an easier way to get started in this business. So many of these dudes on Facebook and YouTube that go on about "Make $10,000 in 3 days!" and "Follow these steps to make $5,000 in 2 hours!" are so bogus and just down right annoying and should be ashamed of their selves.

I started watching and following one guy on FB and YT and I thought, at first, he was pretty legit. He seemed like he honestly wanted to help people. I'm sure he does want to help people...but for a steep price. He started this "challenge" called the "0 to $10,000 challenge". He hyped it up and it truly sounded like a good opportunity. He went down a list of things that would be included: you'll get this training that's worth this, and you'll get this info that's worth this much. The list was pretty long. Finally, at the end of this list, he says, "and that's ALL included in this challenge...absolutely FREE". What did he just say?! FREE? Heck yeah! I'm in! Well, then he says that you have to be interviewed to see if you would be a good match for this program/challenge. Send him a message and he would message you back, personally, and chat with you. I send him a message. He replies back. I tell him the story of my financial issues and why I want to get started in this business. He says to me that he understood where I was coming from and he thought I'd be perfect for this and offered me a spot. I was so excited! I was finally going to learn, step by step, how to do this and be able to have a better for me and my family. After chatting a little more, towards the end of the conversation, he sent me the link to get more info. He told me to go check it out and get back with him.

This link takes me to the website. It mentions all the things he had previously mentioned...and at the bottom it said "ALL this for FREE". However, at the very bottom, where the catch usually is, it says that you have to have a 670 or better credit score and that payment would be expected up front. What payment? This is free.

I send him a message to let him know that I read over the info. I ask him about the credit score, because, my score is no where near that. Then I ask about the payment it says is due up front. Are you ready for this...are you sitting down....$3,000!! Not $300, definitely not $30...but $3,000! Now, I understand not wanting to miss work because you need the money. If anyone gets that, it's me. It has to be a life or death situation before I'll call in to work. But, dude, come on now. You are the one that preaches about having the free time to travel and do all the things you want to do because you aren't getting paid by hour, and you are also the one that talks about how great a feeling it is to wake up in the morning to see that you've made money while you slept. Now, all of a sudden, you have to charge this enormous (or at least to me it is) amount of money acting like if you don't you won't be able to eat or have bill money? I told him, I don't have $3,000 just lying around to give him. His response was, and I quote, "That's fine. We can set up a payment plan. We can split it into 2 or 3 payments, whichever is easier for you. Do you have a preference?" I'm thinking, yeah, NO!

Needless to say, this was a big disappointment for me. I was so excited to actually get the training I needed to get started. However, I'm not one to just hang my head and give up. I was determined to prove to this guy that you could succeed without having to put your house on a 2nd mortgage or sell a kidney or your firstborn.

I'm not sure if any of you have heard of Dan Lok, but he is a self-made millionaire, author, business guru, and mentor. He has a book available online, FREE, titled "FU Money". I had signed up to get a copy. I never received the link in my email, so I commented on the post if it could be re-sent. A long time went by and I had forgotten about it. I was checking my FB messages and I thought, "I haven't looked in this "Other" folder in a while". I clicked on it and there was a message from a gentleman that offered to send me the link he had to see if it would work. I replied to him that I was so sorry, I just hadn't seen the message until then. He replied back and offered to share the link with me. We chatted for a bit when he asked me if I was a business owner and why I was interested in reading the book. I told him I was not, but that I wanted to be and I had watched some of Dan Lok's videos and I thought he was very interesting, not to mention, out spoken and up-front with a dash of humor. Anyway, this guy started telling me about this group he was part of. He was going on about it being the world's #1 affiliate training group and how it's helped him become ranked on Google and how awesome the training was. When he said that the group offered a free plan, my first thought was, oh great...not that again. But he said it wasn't like that at all. You could use the free training and you had the option to upgrade if you wanted to take it to the next level. He shared the page info with me and I pulled it up to check it out. Well, the rest, as they say, is history because, here I am.

I'd like to give a huge shout out to @PPeveto for introducing me to such a wonderful group of people. Everyone that I've encountered has been so helpful and understanding. I feel extremely blessed to be able to be a part of something so wonderful and I plan to spread the word and help others that feel trapped or stuck. You don't have to get a 2nd mortgage or sell a kidney or sell your firstborn. I'm bound and determined to make this work and I know that with the support you get from this group, it will be possible.
