Ahhhh, help me, please!
Ahhhhh!!! Ok. Overwhelm is settlling in. How do you stay focused when your email box is full? There are lots of notifications and I don't know where to focus. Am I missing relevant training?
I physically feel nerves. I am loosing time because I can't focus. I know this is probably par for the course. I started my website and now I have doubts. I don't know where I am going with this. I don't want to quit. That is not an option. What is making me nervous right now is my procrastination. It's like I have a block and I don't know what to do.
Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to stay focused? How much time have you devoted and how do you stay on top of all the emails and notifications.
I see so many people who are successful in this business and I want to be one of them but I feel myself getting lost.

You have made huge progress so far...trust me, and it is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed and frustrated.
I made some huge mistakes in my journey online, and I still am learning now. Don't be too hard on yourself, you are learning a whole new skill set :)
A few tips...
1, Stick with the training....
2, Make sure you have a good roster, accomplish one task at a time, and tick it off.
3, Websites usually take a few months to get up off the ground and established...be patient.
4, Don't get too caught up in the design and look of your website...content is key, and you can always tweak and customize it later on.
5, Always ask for help when stuck...this will help fast forward your success
The best advice I can give is to just stick in there...Take a day off! go for a walk, and then revisit.
The people that win at this are the ones who battle through the hard times...Good on you for reaching out...Hope this has helped.

best thing to do at the start is to turn all notifications off and concentrate on going through the main training... leave everything else out at the moment....
there is a ton of stuff to learn and the last thing you need is any added pressure to answer notifications or check out any extra training.....
i have been in your position and had to ignore everything until i grasped the concepts and knew hte basics...
then i can expand on my knowledge and grow from there....
you can find your notifications under account settings >>notifications and you get to yuor account settings by clicking on your profile image in the top right....

I was feeling overwhelmed (still do sometimes) and just pushing through, until my husband expressed worry that I would burn myself out as I wasn't even sleeping. I just couldn't get my head to turn off… So i committed to specific hours each day (and no more) and end each day with a list that had a starting point for the next day. I spend the first 15 minutes organizing my game plan for the day. If time runs out… I have my starting point for the next day… but I walk away, regroup, relax and focus on other things. It really has helped me. Also having set break times (lunch, supper, a cup of tea set on my phone as an alarm, insures I get up and active too) You'll find your productive pattern, but giving your self permission to recharge is very valuable. I give myself Sundays too! Happy writing!
I appreciate you sharing your experience. Somedays I have barely moved from my desk and I don't feel like I have done anything. But I feel a bit more calm now and I am going to reschedule my calendar so that I can be more productive.
