'paralysis of analysis' is not what is wanted
Information overload and being in an online business is something we all encounter. Especially at first when we are learning.
We are lucky we are part of a genuine training program in WA.
My own experience (before WA) was a paralysis bought on by so much conflicting information from so called experts on Internet Marketing. I mean it was so damned unhelpful , the very opposite to what they promised. One was left feeling stuck and not knowing how to move forward. The unscrupulous will pray on those that want to start out and give them only bits of rehashed information here and there while taking your money.
Then in creeps the thoughts of.... am I just not good at this or is it that difficult to do?Procrastination takes place while you perfect everything first. But no action takes place. It's like being trapped in the wrong mindset but it is not realized. This can go on for years. And it is not really anyone's fault, apart from the gurus who keep the masses deliberately ignorant.
There is the butterfly mind too which can happen when 'opportunities' seem to fail and one goes on to try the next shiny object and so on. This is also the wrong mindset to succeed online. If your approach to your online presence is like a hobby that is what will be returned.
Deciding to OWN your online business 100%, and that can still be an affiliate business, by jumping into the water (activity) completely rather than just dipping the toes in, is the shift necessary. Become authentic, do not worry about winning or losing, just be yourself and remain positive. That will attract followers and buyers. They will trust you.
Now I know many of you already know this because either you have experienced it or you have bypassed the pain and have gotten the right start here. But if you are totally new to internet marketing then take heed from one who has found out the hard way.
There is no need to go it alone and real training is available, so if you have been directed to this blog .... congratulations. Decide to jump in 100% - do the work - see you in success city.

Yes, I've been there. I've seen so many of those IM companies that give bits of rehashed info. I'm presently a little lost with SEO. I ended up getting to much info, then I was totally stuck. You need to keep it simple and learn from trusted sources like WA, and keep doing something. Eventually, you will figure out what works.
Hi, Gregarious! Great Post ...I am too young for 'paralysis by analysis', if anything my Mktg Prof and no less than my Mentor, Coach and all around guardian "angel" [who happens to be my grandfather] tells me how he wishes that Paralysis by Analysis was contagious, that I would get a dose of, but then he says like you just die at the end of your great post -- dammit Mike ...just get on with it until you become ":enlightened" like the rest of the world and can deal with it! Like your Post, thanks my good friend
Great insight into getting into the lesson material and not being 'perfect'. Just need to keep adding and building.
Thank you for this. This has truly been a tough week where I wonder if I should throw in the towel. ;)
I understand that it can be very challenging and many buttons get pushed within our psyche telling us to quit. But if we can release those thoughts and replace them with light and joyful ones and allow them to be and grow then it will improve. Remember the universe is friendly to your desires and wants you to succeed . All we need to do is to accept it.
I think that if you look at your week and extract what you have learned then you have some positives to move forward with next week :)
sound advice. Fence sitting is a pain in the *** so move right along people..thanks Gregory
Greg, I agree with you 100%, I am so glad I finally found a place where you can get your questions answered and they are not always wanting more money to answer that question. This is the best. Have a Happy Valentine's Day.
