Contrary to what many believe, lemons and other citrus fruit are good for us despite their acid content. Not only because of the vitamin c but also because of their ability to neutralise acids in the stomach. Please note that I said stomach. Citrus fruit are harmful to our dental health if kept in the mouth too long. In our stomach they however neutralise acids, making our pH levels more alkaline.
Drinking a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in the morning on an empty stomach (after oil pulling) is a great way to boost your digestion in the morning. Do this regularly and see for yourself what improvements this habit brings to your health.

I had an ulcer several years ago, citrus fruits were one of the things that I had to eliminate. Although I eat citrus fruits now, but I have scaled back. Citrus fruits were not the "culprit" to me getting an ulcer, I'm sure there were other factors involved.
Hot water with lemon and honey in the morning is one of my favorites!
