Just interviewed a young single woman who decided to leave her "secure" job, rent her house, leave her family and friends back home and go travel the world. She is not rich by any means and it was not easy for her to take the leap. But she knew that it was something that she had to do and mustered the guts to do it.

I truly admire people who follow their dreams regardless of what people around them say. Even close loving family and friends can many time take away your dreams with well intentioned comments and suggestions that simply do not apply to you.

We all have wants, needs and desires that are not always understood by people around us even as close as they may seem to be.

Wow, this hits home. I left my secure job to attend massage school. I rented out my house and now live in a different city. Furthermore, I am ready to leave my current city and travel abroad. I, too, feel it's something I must do. And soon, I will. :O)
