Mistakes
Most of us make mistakes. (Sometimes I think I probably make more than others). That's okay as long as you have a process for dealing with them. Instead of getting frustrated, or even worse, giving up, use them as a learning opportunity.
The first step is to identify the problem. What was the root cause of the problem. Ask yourself questions. For example, did I put the right code in? Did I follow all the steps in the correct order? Did I forget a step in the process? Did I make a typographical error?
After identifying the problem, generate alternative ways to accomplish your task. Consider creating and using checklists. Evaluate all the alternatives you come up with and implement the ones you think will work the best.
Finally, use mistakes as a teaching opportunity. Share them with the WA community. Especially when you've solved the problem that caused the mistake. It's very probable that someone else has made the very same mistake but didn't bother to ask for help. Be proactive. Pay it forward.
