Marketing Persona

If you've identified the audience you want to target yet are still having trouble coming up with content you may want to create a marketing persona.

A marketing persona is an imaginary version of your potential customer. When you write, you can write to the persona you've created. Give it a fun, unique name. Create more than one if you want.

When creating your persona include character traits of those you are targeting. Include a lifestyle, demographics, why they need your product or service, behavioral patterns, goals, etc. Make them seem like a real person.

It may help your writing and focus if you are writing to an imaginary person instead of a computer screen. More like having a conversation. Hope this helps someone.

Very useful advice. Thank u.

Thanks for your comment.

Great advice, I've even heard it said to pick out a real person. You probably know someone that is your target audience. Talk to Joe or Mary specifically.

Definitely going to have to check this one out. Thank you.

Thanks for your comment.

Have you got an example in place?

It's really long and detailed. If you search the web using marketing persona you can get a lot more information than I provided. There's a lot out there.
