Vacation Money

This past week, I took my first vacation since I started here at Wealthy Affiliate in September and I just wanted to reflect on an experience I had.

I really didn't think much about it until I was checking my e-mail after a long day at Disney World and saw that I had made a sale that afternoon.

I thought about what I was doing that afternoon when the sale was made. I don't remember exactly what I was doing but I do know for sure that I was in Disney World and not doing any work whatsoever.

I also made a second sale the next morning while I was again spending time with my family and going on ride after ride at Disney. It was my first time making two sales within 24 hours.

Like most people here, I joined WA to make money online and give myself the financial freedom in the future to do what I want to do.

Since the beginning, the thought of getting paid for work you did over and over well after you finished it has always been exciting. It's downright exhilarating to be honest.

Not that I needed any more proof because I know that what we're doing here truly works however, this experience just confirmed for me why blogging and affiliate marketing is the best business to be in.

Was it a lot of money I made with those two sales? No but it doesn't matter. What matters is the process works if you do the work.

I am still taking baby steps compared to many here but hopefully this post will help some of you struggling with the frustration of working hard without seeing any immediate results.

I know how frustrating it can be. I've had to work a lot on my patience since I started here and it has made me a better person for doing so.

Be patient. Be persistent. Write quality content. If I can do it, you can do it. Hang in there.
