Finally Hit The Big 5-0

I have heard many times that the tide begins to turn traffic wise when you get up to 50 published posts.

Although I'm a few posts past 50, I meant to write this on the day I actually wrote my 50th post and just didn't have the time.

I've been here since September 2018 and quickly approaching that one year mark. I've learned so much in that time but feel like it's a drop in the ocean compared to what I still have to learn.

Anyways, I have been trying to hit 50 posts for a while. Due to my full time job and other time requirements, I don't always get out the amount of posts every week that I'd like to.

I feel that now that I've finally hit 50 posts, the work has just begun, but at least my site isn't completely naked anymore.

I actually have some content to link to and share on some other platforms.

I just wanted to memorialize the point where I hit it through the blog here to have something to look back on.

Has my traffic improved? Yes, it's definitely increased a bit in organic traffic when I got close to 50. Slowly but surely it's going up.

If you're at that point like I was where it feels like you will never hit 50 posts, keep going.

I know that some hit 50 posts within their first few months so I obviously am not talking to you overachiever (kidding).

Keep at it and keep writing posts and you will get there. I used to think in the beginning after each post that I would never be able to think of another.

Then I just sat down and started working and I got there.

Now on to the next goal of 100 posts!
