Sunrise to Sunset
The sand was deep, and would blow away in the winds after each step my stallion took, as he walked me closer to the beach where the ocean was teasing the beach with its wet kisses.
People would stop and stare as I rode through the salty ponds that the tide promised to fill back up before the waters could completely soak into the sandy basin.
We rode like nobody was watching, and we were both sure that it was heaven... but it was but a taste of the dream that I knew was the one I longed to live.
Since that day, I’ve kept the memory of that day from sunrise to sunset... and live to see the sunrise there again and fall again on my shoulders and my steeds back.
