I was away for almost 2 days. We just came home from a funeral service of a loved one.

It was really a hurting experience because, not only that my auntie was so sweet to us, we also learned that his son (my cousin, an OFW working in Singapore), is also suffering from health problems...

...and his wife pregnant of 7 months was admitted to the hospital for kidney problem and was forced to give birth prematurely to a 2nd baby. And it happened while the first child was just getting over his own sickness.

As I talk to my cousin (of same age with me), I can see his deteriorating health evident to his looks.

"My salary in Singapore as an accountant for a oil drilling company is quite high, but the cost of living there is equally high." I can sense the struggle in him. He and his family are all living now in Singapore.

The reality of life started to sink in.

What if my cousin, the bread winner of his family, eventually lost his health?

Another cousin of mine who is also a bread winner of his family, died 2 weeks ago, of Leukemia. He was just 30 years old. And he left a pregnant wife too, plus 2 small kids.

The story scared me because, 2 days ago, I spotted some dark contusions with my arm, maybe due to lack of sleep working in WA.

I hope this is just anemia..
