I am just so excited to be back as a premium member. For many months since I joined as a starter in September 2013, I have been pretty much floating about looking for the next best shiny opportunity which does not really exist. I won't claim that I have spend several thousands of dollars on shiny programs that promise instant riches but I have had a fare share of these. Enough for me to realize that success comes from hard work, dedication, learning from successful people and applying their techniques and methods they apply to their business.

Investing in oneself is the greatest gift of all. This is a new chapter in my life and I am so excited. I will apply myself diligently, commit time and effort as I now realize the importance of being focused. My goals and ambitions are pretty much renewed. That Eureka moment is happening to me right now. All I can say is I am so excited and I truly believe this to be the best decision I have made to date since I started working on creating an opportunity for myself and family online.

I will ask myself in 30 days from now If I have made any progress from this day. My goals are as clear to me now than at any time.

I am just happy to be here and my journey starts right now as my story begins to unfold. And no doubt I am going to succeed. How can I not with all this help that I have right before my eyes.

Direct quote, "What I think are the scammy / shady parts of the site is how the site tries to push new members to become affiliate marketers of the WealthyAffiliatecom affiliate program. All members of Wealthy Affiliate get 50% recurring commission for every person who signs up for WealthyAffiliate using their affiliate link and only WA members can promote WA. This is why you see so much positive feedback about WA online because every member wants your 50% recurring commission if you join through their affiliate link. Of course they will not say something negative about the site if they expect you to click their link so they can set their cookie in your browser so if you join they get credit for the sale. Have you noticed the internet is loaded with positive things about WA? This is by no accident. The owners of WA are very smart. They know that the average person will spend only 3 months at WA as a paid member before dropping out of the site. They really push people to become part of their super affiliate program in some of the training. They teach new members how to write articles about WA and publish them online, then those articles go into syndication and may bring in new members for years to come, long after the members who wrote them leave the site. VERY CLEVER! I believe many members drop out because they are mainly taught how to promote WA and there is a lot of competition, so many members give up and quit the site because of it. After a member quits WA they no longer get commissions for all those articles they wrote, all those commissions go directly to the top and into the pockets of Niche Marketing, the company that owns WA.. What this means is that many members paid WA to learn how to promote the site by example and after they quit the site only WA benefits by getting a bunch or new members on the backs of old members work"

I am not sure about the point, whoever the author is, is trying to make. From my own experience all people who engage in internet marketing do it for the opportunity. I have had the fortune of buying a lot of shiny programs that promote instant riches. And again in my own experience, they have little or no training and whatever little training they have if far from comprehensive, let alone leave you to figure the rest of the stuff own your own unless you buy yet another up-sell which you go through until the cycle repeats itself.

And don't get me wrong, I have also reviewed other genuine internet coaches who have the interests of their members at heart such as Eric Tips. Having said that, I joined WA over a year ago as a starter and no one from WA ever coerced me to upgrade to Premium membership including Jay Cumbs the respectable WA member through whom I had my initial contact with WA for the very first time. I became a non active member in while still receiving promotional emails and updates from WA as I did not unsubscribe from their mailing lists.

The reason I left was my belief that I would make it work on my own when i figure the magic button which never happened. In that year a pursued yet more shiny objects with disjointed training and more up-sells and until a couple days ago when I about to purchase another one "Freedom Fighters Net" or something like that. However as cautious as I always try to be I did a review and came across Nathaniel whom I regard as a very talented member of WA and who has also been successful from his association with WA. In his blog and his review was balanced I decided, to peruse more about him and what made him successful.

At that point I made it my business that I would join WA as a premium member because of the valuable training that they offer. And the leaders are very genuine and sincere in their desire to help others. All the other members whom I have had contact with are very warm and kind and the environment just motivates you. The conclusion I reached was that, if I am not successful it has absolutely nothing to do with Kyle and Carson or any member of this community but myself. I say this because they out-rightly declare that success will not happen overnight and that one has to put in some work and follow the training and do the tasks which in turn provides you with the necessary skills to build your business whatever niche you choose or decide to get involved in.

What else should we expect other than gratitude that we have a well rounded system in place that is absolutely free of coercion (and I believe).

Learning to promote WA in my view is necessary practice to bolster those skills and while you are at it you also have an opportunity to making money doing so.

I still wonder why people don't immediately sign up for such reasonable training such as WA which provides more use value than the price charge and also providing mechanisms through which your efforts can actually pay for the membership making the premium membership even free if one likes.

I would say lets go recruiting and get as may people expected as this is definitely a trustworthy chance at gaining any financial freedom.

I remain highly committed to my goals here and I can visually see my success right before my eyes.

Cwjohnson, if this is your belief, that's ok. For many of us, this is an opportunity that looks right and that's obviously what gombriot has realized.

I haven't been one who has searched and tried other online things, so I haven't experienced the scams others talk about. Instead, I've worked in good-paying jobs for 41 years and don't have much to show for it. So, this is a wonderful opportunity, built on an extremely helpful community of people, that is good for me now.

Yes, some of what you quoted is true. A lot of people do promote WA and don't get anywhere, then drop out. The drop-out rate here is true for any type of personal business (probably worse in many others). That's a matter of willingness to keep going when it seems impossible.

I did do MLM for a period of time. I did quite well but then got frustrated because my goals depended on finding others who would think like me. I realized quickly that most people don't have the mental attitude or grit to be successful in their own business. Then I quit. That is still, to me, the biggest failure in my life - quitting when I might have been very close to big success.

In this business, I am responsible. I can get all the training and teaching I need right here and I can learn to build the business legitimately and honestly.

All I can add is: I support you Gombirot.

1

I tried MLM too with ACN and a majority of the people have a can't do mentality. Also what frustrated me in this business was the fact that 98% of the people around me have an " I'm being scammed mentality" as they often think it's a pyramid. In a nutshell the business model provided at WA for creating a business is something I am mentally prepared for.The objections are a lot easier to handle than in an MLM model. The heavier burden in an MLM business model is that you will need family and friends support to build the necessary confidence to help you develop the necessary skills to succeed and that is not necessarily the easiest thing to do. I did not quit per se but when I found the "make money online opportunity" I was rather much more comfortable.

Being comfortable also build some level of confidence required to succeed.

1

Very well said! MLMs aren't bad, but as you noted, people have the idea that every one is a pyramid, which they automatically consider to be bad. What's true is that almost every corporation is formatted as a "pyramid". It's a solid way to organize things.

I have always regretted the fact that I "gave up" because I knew I had a good thing in my hands. Actually, I am still part of that MLM program but not actively pursuing it any more.

I'm looking forward to growing in this together with you.

2

I like your attitude. It is hard to walk away from something that you are succeeding at, even if it is out of your comfort zone. That takes character. You are destined to succeed with that kind of integrity.

Hello.good luck on your journey.Be blessed

1

Thank you Lisa for your gracious blessings. Really need these to stay motivated.

It's a work in progress.Stay focus, people will laugh at you .But like I heard TD Jakes say its not their dream and they are not to understand a dream meant for you.
