I just thought I needed to talk more about this theme. If you purchased the above theme and you are going through the training videos to setup your theme, you need to be careful.
There is a second person who has had all of his content wiped by resetting WordPress.
The problem arises when you want to download the Demo Importer which is a pre-set site with everything set up for you. In the training video, they will tell you that the Demo Importer will work well with a fresh Wordpress installation.
The instructor will proceed to show you how to download the reset WordPress plugin. At this point, he does not mention anything about what happens to your content as you reset.
It will take an experienced person to know that by resetting you are actually wiping out everything on your site.
Please Back Up Your Site before Proceeding with the Reset
If you don't, you will LOSE all of your content. Refer to this training for simple backup process that will be worth your while.

If you are new and you are not sure of yourself it will help you to ask questions here or in chat. You will get help. It's something that I am learning at a very dear cost.
There is no need to be embarrassed about whether a question is stupid or not. Use my golden rule.

When you learn to do this and more often, you will realise soon enough why Kyle and Carson came up with this kind of community. The one that is always ready to help.
Instead of re-inventing the wheel asking questions becomes your shortcut to success. That is why I love hang out with all of you.

Hope this saves someone a good amount of grief. Trust me losing content will cause you grief and you don't want to go there.

I just backup my site because this is the second warning. Lol I wasn't changing my theme, but a sign is a sign! thanks!
Tich - as always, great advice coming from you. Thanks! WA does back up our sites if you are a premium member, but as a professional, treat this as yout business and also take ownership of performing your own backups - not only of your website but of your own local files as well. If you schedule it in on a weekly basis, it should only take a few minutes depending on how much data you have. There's nothing worse than losing all that information you have collected over the years.

This is great advice. Just remember that I am student businessman who wasn't just doing enough homework.
So yeah, you are right. I should be getting in the habit of backing up all my stuff.
I don't think I will ever this again. I actually linked my Wordpress site to Dropbox cloud for weekly automatic updates.

Good blog, theres a lot that's not mentioned but that is very a useful IT procedure "Backup".
Always do this before any major changes.

Good information Tich, always have a backup. And ask your host to restore a backup for you if you have not made one yourself.
