So Far Behind But Catching Up
Oh man. How many have started here at WA with all the zeal and drive of a Leopard chasing its prey then… it gets away.
C’mon, lets be honest. I’m not the only one out there that has lost sight of what we wanted to do with our “Big ideas” at WA.
Whether home life, work commitments or whatever else, as time goes by some of us just seem to get snowed under with the unforeseen.
Then I thought back to the Leopard chasing its prey.
However when this happened I had to make a choice if I wanted to press on or give up. Then I thought back to the Leopard chasing its prey. It still keeps hunting.
Well I got honest with myself and acknowledged I was snowed under with other things in life which resulted in taking my focus away from WA.
Don’t get me wrong. I hadn’t entirely given up however I was nowhere near where I wanted to be at the end of twelve months after joining.
When I log into SiteRubix that amber line keeps appearing and underneath still reads, “Site health is getting better”.
Well I thought thats not going to change if I dont. So I went looking for some encouragement here at WA. I found it, Nancy and Frank.
To put it simply, thank you to Nancy (Lunatrix) for her four part presentation on “Build a Niche Website”. Four half hour video presentations which are very clear, concise and inspiring.
Also thank you to Frank (Affilicoach / stealthsecrets.com) for his website which is full of encouragement and especially his, “My Crazy Story” which is a great read on his website.
Dusting off the snow and initiating some of what I learned from Nancy and Frank, the zeal has returned.
Now I’m happy to report that 1st gear is no longer in use and that I am working my way up through the cogs to top gear.
The Leopard is now (again) in pursuit of its prey.
Stay focused,
Andy

the leopard only needs to chase its prey when it is hungry and then only until it has made its kill, then it will lounge around again until it is hungry again
a better image would be that of the race between the tortoise and the hare,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Andy. As a beginner it gives me insight.
I also remember a saying about, It's not how many times we fall off the horse when we're learning to ride, but how many times we get back on!
I like the getting back on. Keep on, keeping on!!
Pleasure to make your acquaintance Andy.
