Helping Your SEO
Hello WA Rockstars,
This I should have put in yesterdays article and I am truly sorry I didn't, it didn't come to mind till later that day.
One of the things that may be helping with my rankings is, I have been adding internal links to a lot of my articles. It helps with SEO google likes them.
If you're not sure what an internal link is, it's linking one of your articles to another one of your articles. It's where you'll be reading an article and you'll see something like in a previous article I wrote and you click on it and it takes you to a past article of there's
Adding them is easy it's no different from adding an Affiliate link, go to your previous article you will use copy and paste it into the link tab but don't check the box open in new window.
Give it a try.
Rock Your Journey,
David

That is a great idea I will do that once I learn how to do it because there is a couple of things that I would like to link. Thank you for the idea.

We feel validated after reading this. We put our internal links in as we remember learning that it was valuable.
Thanks for reminding us!

Thanks David!
I’m getting to a place where I can begin to use this advice, having more posts now.
Great reminder.

Great advice and something that should be there at least ince in every post you write. Hard if you are just starting out but if you keep writing then the time will come that you can link to many other posts in just one post. This also helps with your bounce rate.

Indeed. Internal links definitely help and external links to trusted sources that, aren't you direct competition helps as well. (i.e. Better Business Bureau, Wikipedia)
Jay overs the most important things that you should do to help you rank here: 2018 Blog Post Checklist Jay's SEO Process for 2018 Jays 10 Step Process on Getting Content to Rank If you follow most of those steps your content will rank. I've used this for my old site which ranks for nearly anything I write about and my new site I started last year. It's a nice checklist to easily follow.
So your first article obvious will have no internal links. Is there any recipe from you for your 1st ever article?
The best thing with your first article make sure of good key words and a good key word title. With it being your first article it takes time as you build content you gain more trust from google.
1. Link to trusted external sites
2. Go back later and add internal links after you have more articles.
I have some questions.
How many should I put internal links in 1 blog post?
Is there has some kind of limit on number of internal link per post from Google?
What happen if I insert more than 10 internal link in 1 blog post?
Is it enough to insert only 5 internal links per post?
Sorry too many question :)
You can put as many as you want. I as a rule of thumb don't put no more than two. Putting 10 internal links is a bit of overkill.
Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll keep as low as possible. How about external links? Is it good to insert ext link more than int link in 1 article?
