Once you sign up and join the community, you will be unranked until you start taking lessons and doing activities which would your ranking start and move for the better . I asked myself questions when I saw my rank compared to others especially the Owners of WA, Ambassadors and Premiums. Why is my rank higher than the other ranks?
I had no clue on whether ranking works in descending order until I realized my rank going downwards to the better. Let me give you tips to insure you boost your rank from the onset as you join Wealthy Affiliate:.
- Start taking your lessons and insure you complete each level. Your progress in your lessons will be acknowledged.
- Create a blog post with in WA. Blog Posts will enable you to build network, share your ideas and progress.
- Create your own website, design it and create a niche. If your not premium you can start with free Siterubix.com sites.
- Comment on goals, member profiles and blogs.
- Chat and help those who need to be helped.
- Invite friends to Wealthy Affiliate by using the given url containing a code in your profile.
- Create networking by following newbies and the experienced Premium as well as Ambassadors. Creating networking will help you interact and get help.
- Follow the newbies (Build your personal network).
- Be a Premium or Ambassador member because they do most activities as well help and their ranking is lower than newbies to the better.
- Check you ranking statistics. You can check your rank by writing https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/rank or clicking 'rank' in your profie side.
- Insure you come online mostly and sign in to WA by doing activities aforementioned.

Though it's awesome to see your rank here get better and better (Hitting a rank goal makes you even more motivated I know :P ), the most important thing is to build friendships, help people in need and inspire people to keep moving forward and to try new things.
As long as you can do that your rank will go up. Also for anyone who is new to WA, don't think that a high rank means more experience because it doesn't.
Great post but remember your goal is to help others and inspire others not to get the highest rank :)
Thank you for the insight, I created the blog from my personal view point. The main aim here is to help others and your helped as well.
Don't worry I understand :) A high rank also means to others that you are clearly determined to help people so they will in turn help you. I have received a lot of help from so many good people.
