Work vs Play - Just For Fun

I was trying to work out a word that describes work that you enjoy. (playwork, plork etc) Just doesn't work, does it. Work by the definitions I have found don't say anything about fun. Work should be fun and enjoyable.
Some work is fun and enjoyable. That is what we are being told constantly. "Find something you love doing and get someone to pay you to do that" or have you just been told to work hard and you will be fine.
Definitions:
WORK - Physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something
PLAY - Engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.
I also think the definition of PLAY is flawed. It can have a practical purpose.
Well, if anyone has a word for "fun work". There may be one! Please enlighten me................
