Making Money Online for 2020

I have noticed in the recent weeks a spate of new online entrepreneurs that are looking to start businesses online and see this as a way of creating a new and sustainable way of earning an income! My initiate reaction is excitement as the more the merrier, right? Then it suddenly takes me back 2 years to when I first started out and the sheer shock of the task at hand is enough to crush any ones hopes and dreams, so many direct ideas, information coming at you from all angles and then are those that profit off the newbie by making all kinds of stupid promises about overnight riches. Aaaargh, what now?

STOP, PAUSE, BREATHE & Evaluate

Nobody in this business just woke up one day and became rich in Affiliate Marketing, Fact! Find your own unique niche and focus on you, mind map your business out with Pen and Paper, start looking at where your audience is hanging out and figure out good content that will get them from their hangout spot to your offer, for example, if your audience is on Facebook, create some catchy content with a FREE offer, that will get them to hit your link to your website or get them into your sales funnel. All you are doing is figuring out where your potential customers are and going to get them from where they are at to your offer, that's it, nothing more complicated than that!

Education is good but you can't consume it all at once!

Take bite size chunks of the education that is applicable to where you are at RIGHT NOW, not where you see yourself a year from now. Learn the skills that you need right now, start from the beginning, your training at Wealthy Affiliate is FREE, start there and then research the things you need from the start. If you don’t know how to mind map, Google or Youtube “How to create a mind map” Please don't assume that you have to know everything right now, you need to take on smaller “bite size” chunks of information that is digestible and applicable for where you are at right now

Start NOW & be prepared

2020 is a few days away, why wait? Start planning right now, have at least 2 blogs, videos or posts ready to go for the New Year, be first don't play catch up, its harder to follow the pack than to simply be out front first and let others follow you. Plan your marketing for the coming year, have a clear idea for New Year, January Sales, Valentines Day etc. Be ahead, always have content prepared beforehand. Ads the saying goes… Proper Pre-Planning Prevents Poor Performance!

Watch yourself not others

Its so easy as a “newbie to watch others that are “crushing it” in your space but remember they started from scratch too! Your success is measured on the time and effort that YOU invest, not what others are doing. Ask for advice, watch others for tips on what they are doing that's working for them but DO NOT compare yourself, you have to give yourself time to grasp things at your own pace, enjoy the grind more than the money, as we all say in this business “love what you do”. If you truly are passionate about your business and invest passionate amounts of time and effort, the money will flow

Have a Rock Solid Foundation

If you have concrete foundations you can outlast any storm, with a good strong base at Wealthy Affiliate, you have a place to grow, community to help you and a sustainable base to have multiple businesses in different niches to keep you relevant in multiple markets at the same time thus increasing your flow of revenue. Be Consistent, Work Hard, Enjoy the Journey and make Bank!
