Glen's Final Note
After trying quite a few of the alternatives I came back to optimize press every time. It's simple to use and has every option I could want.
There are times when I wish that the elements boxes didn't always show because that makes it harder to get precisely the look you want but that is the only thing I can come up with that I don't like and the benefits far outweigh that one flaw.
If you have been sitting on the fence for a good drag and drop builder OptimizePress is my recommendation.

If you spend a little time creating your own layouts you are going to find that you can do just about anything you could ever want but with the ease of drag and drop.

I value your opinion... Would optimizepress work better for e-com store building than elementor?
I doubt that I have time (or skills) to evaluate both...

If you are planning on eCom then I wouldn't use either. I would use WooCommerce Plugin.
eCommerce sites require a bit of a different look and feel. They also need to be able to ship products, take orders. So there are a lot of options that a true eCom plugin like woo would offer.

... you can create also in WordPress, WordPress as well, what also depends on the theme you use! However, OptimizePress is doing a great job and it is a very good choice.
I have used OptimizePress a few years ago and I know the attractivity of their graphics and simplicity of using!

Yes anyone can create any of those pages, however, the problem is in the layout of the pages. Most don't have the skills to do HTML to get the exact look and feel that is desired.
Builders like OptimizePress make this a simple task. Ultimately that is the purpose of the drag and drop builder to make it easy and save time.
I personally have all the skills to create any page. I choose to use a drag and drop builder because time is money and I can create a page in almost no time at all as opposed to hours of work.

Not every theme is easy for customization. Especially when you want to make a clear full wide landing page.
