Are you a WooCommerce User? If so this short post is to prepare you for the upcoming new release of WordPress 5.0.
Update Your WooCommerce Now
If you are running any version of WooCommerce before version 3.5.1 then you stand a good chance that your site will stop working when WordPress 5.0 comes out.
Many of us turn on the auto updates so that our WordPress is always at the latest version. We do this to protect our sites from any vulnerabilities that might be fixed in the latest version.
Major Release Issues
Major Releases of any software is usually where major changes to the core parts of an application take place. This is good and bad Software developers have the ability to work with WordPress Changes before the actual code is released.
This allows plugin developers to bring their code up to the latest version.
Are You Ready
When the new WordPress 5.0 is release many of us will be fighting to update our plugins and themes and make sure our site is still functioning. If we are using old and unsupported plugins and themes we stand a good chance of having issues.
WooCommerce is a leader in the industry for eCommerce. A recent update I got from them was that if you do not update your WooCommerce to 3.5.1+ then your ecommerce store will cease to work.
Make sure you are on the latest version before upgrading to WordPress 5.0

For Sure.. I can't tell you how many times I had to scramble to fix issues after an upgrade. Knowing ahead of time that you have to do certain things sure makes it a little less frantic.

Glad to help, It was supposed to be released in August. But here we are already in November. I know it's being tested and fixes are being done. So No new date that I have seen.
