Wealthy Affiliate Program Progress - Teaching An Old Dog New Tricks

Progress To-Date

So far I've just completed the Certification Course Level 2 (10) step Lesson Plan - Building Your Own Traffic Producing Website. I'm amazed at how much can be accomplished in such a short period of time if you just stay on course. WA has developed a means of Teaching someone that has minimal knowledge (Nil in my case) how to create a website and one day be a source of income.

My Niche

When it came time to select a 'niche' I was at a loss, totally. I pondered what could I devote my time toward that could / would be a means of helping potential visitors to my website. So I decided to go with "Joint and Back Pain Relief" a topic that I'm well aware of and through personal experience have dealt with. Once I went forward with this path so many things began to come to light that I stayed the course. I purchased my own domain jointbackpainrelief.com from GoDaddy then moved it to Wealthy Affiliate for hosting.

Successes

I've managed to create 'Blogs' and 'Posts' that have been thought provoking and have the potential to do what I've set out to do - Helping Others Deal with Pain. That's a real good feeling. I have some website management / maintenance issues I want to address as soon as possible. 1). Menus - Kyle via communications with me has suggested / recommended that I have a one line menu header. Kyle even provided a link on the topic. I made an attempt to correct the issue but found that my focus just wasn't into it yet. I'm OK with that because after reviewing other member's websites I've identified in my mind exactly how I ultimately want to address this issue. 2). I've experienced a 'glitch' in the creating a New User, I had to resort to the WA Site Support Group to create my New User. I could not create a New User, I kept, and still do, getting an Error Message that states "The Password Must Be The Same In Both Fields". The Site Support personnel could not replicate this Error Message. These two items I will address ASAP.

Plans and Goals - 3 months / 6 months

My goal over the next three months is to finalize 100% my current website and become a successful graduate of the Wealthy Affiliate Program. At this point I hope to be making some income from my first pass at Internet Marketing. I then plan to immediately dive into the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp Training Modules.

6 Months: It's my goal to have two websites up and running 100% earning money from both. I do plan to continue on with creating several more websites that I've already identified niches for.
