I Missed Out on This Opportunity

I'm sitting here at home, pretty much self-isolating like everybody else, and I don't have any passive income coming in.

I do have retirement income, so I'm fine, but no passive money from my online business.

Why is that?

It's because I've been working WITHOUT any sense of urgency for the almost three years I've been with WA.

That's neither good nor bad, it's just a fact.

If I'd been more focused, I could easily have a solid income from my online business by now. If I could have seen the future, I would have worked a lot harder.

Anyone else in my boat?

I can change that for the next time I'm stuck at home without being able to go out and do stuff.

I could have helped a lot of people over the last couple of years prepare themselves for the day that they would lose their jobs over the coronavirus. It's too late right now.

There are probably a lot of people who have lost work, through no fault of their own, who are looking online for income opportunities to replace lost wages. A lot of these people will be scammed.

People who join WA now will have to go through the training and the time and effort to become authority sites, and this virus will be gone way before they get there.

We can help prepare people for the next time they may be laid off because of some crisis or other, though.

Yesterday is in the past, tomorrow never gets here. We only have today.

As my dad used to tell us kids growing up whenever we lost out on an opportunity or screwed up somehow, "Let that be a lesson to you!"

Remember, we only fail when we quit. I may be a slow starter, but I haven't quit. I can learn from my past and get a sense of urgency. My success will come, especially if I get busy and make it happen.

Umm hindsight is 20 20 vision,
There is a saying I have heard a few times. It may sound esoteric but it is hard to dispute.
" Wherever you are,and what ever you are doing at this particular point in time is where you are meant to be and what you are meant to be doing".
Yep... I've had those thoughts to..
Michael.

Nice quote, Michael. Thanks.

I can only agree with your statement and I believe that I am in the same boat as you.
I'm still here but do I have the spark it takes to succeed or is it still the fear of success?
I know I am not making the effort of the desperate!
Why?
I do not know.
Is it the lack of a mentor?
Is it the lack of encouragement?
Is it the lack of motivation?
Is it because it is not in my language and I have to make constant efforts to produce when I often have difficulty understanding the instructions?
Is it my age and the fact that I have enough income to have a comfortable lifestyle?
But I know that I have the desire to succeed in what I started 15 months ago.
And I will not give up!

Great comment. It makes us think abour what we are doing.

For now I am still working and this is for sure a wake up call for us all. I have slowed down at times but still working on the training as often as I can work it in.

Hopefully I will have all the trainings complete in the next few months. Continue to work on other training and add more sites before the year ends. I may not meet these goals but I will try.

Thanks for sharing your post.

You're welcome. Keep going with what you're doing. Success will come.

It doesn't matter where we are, it is always about where we are going.

We are in the right place.

Most of us have a gift of some extra time. Today is the best day to get into it. Today is the best day to double down on the efforts we are making.

Best wishes.

Alex

Good, uplifting words, Alex. Thanks.

The important thing is your ability to identify the root cause and determination as the corrective action. Set yourself a timeline and short term deadlines. They will may a difference.

Nice post, by the way, as I am sure there are quite a few people who can relate to it.

Good luck!

Cecilia

Thanks, Cecilia. And thanks for the good advice.
