What an experience at WA

Being ready

I have had the most exciting time at WA. I knew nothing about affiliate marketing; everything I know was initiated by my participation at WA. There were moments when I didn’t feel ready, but I had to take the next step. For example, when my website was indexed on Google; I thought it didn’t have enough ‘zing’ to meet the world. I am still learning and I have realised that the next lesson answers the questions that I might have had after each achievement. In a nutshell, if I waited to be ready, I would have never published my website and learned all the awesome stuff along the way.

The WA community is friendly and helpful, wishing me success all the way, and availing themselves when I needed help. I love the Follow feature, it opens doors to information I might have never come across. Sometimes members use jargon, which might be intimidating for ‘newbies’ who are not familiar with ‘tech’ language. But with the lessons I got to understand what is going on.

I have a website that can be googled, a huge achievement; although at the moment it is still hiding, not much traffic. I have chosen spirituality as my niche because it interests me and I am experiencing the benefits of being in this space. I didn’t know that I could write so much about stuff or that the information I share could be interesting. This platform has opened so many opportunities for me to learn and connect with people in ways I never thought possible. I am on social media platforms, but never have I perceived them the way I do now. I only have Google+ and Facebook; I don’t know how you keep up with all your other accounts. I think in the past month I have visited more websites than ever since I met Google, looking for information, inspiration, benchmarking, etc.

I would like to get to a point where I can make my website visible and monetise it. Once I’ve got this figured out, I’ll do it again with a different niche.
