Hi George, we will never be safe on internet again. Big players like Sony, Google, Adobe... can be helpless under attack. Add plugin is much better than nothing, though not infallible. Sucuri is an option. I use Free version, the Premium version is claimed to be better.

I'm very wary of any of "security" plugins, I remember one which was deliberate malware and handed over user names, passwords, traffic, etc. to the developer and I've seen cases where sites get locked up when they go wrong or the developer fails to update them or abandons them entirely. They often open more "holes" to a site than they protect from. I - and many others - rely on strong user names and passwords and have never suffered any issues. :) Rich.
