Halfway Through Week One
So I started the work into figuring out what WA is really all about after trying to find a job working from home. All of the jobs I was looking at seriously required me to have additional state licenses, money to pay for background AND credit checks or more than 40 hours a week to make money. I didn't have the means to provide any of those things.
I happened to run across a WA ambassador's website (shout out to Nathaniell and his website One More Cup of Coffee!). I read his website, and the tone was so sincere. I was surprised to find he was promoting WA. This time, I took a more thorough look at WA. I read reviews from independent review sites, and I couldn't find any legitimate negative reviews.
So I created an account and have been steadily going through the first course. Today I signed up for premium membership, and I'm pretty sure that I won't be disappointed. I started on course two this afternoon, and ran into some hangups in the first lesson. Got some great help from site support and got it figured out with a little determination...and about two hours of frustration. :)
Now it's time to sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy what feels like the beginning of true success!

Welcome to WA! I went through some of the same things you did. I was hesitant about WA but here we are a year later and I am truly enjoying it. It is not a scam, I have a wonderful site (if I do say so myself....)and have built relationships with the community :)

Thanks, Emily, for the validation. I haven't spent a lot of time in the community here at WA, because I want to get my site up and running as quickly as possible, but when I ask a question in chat, people are always so willing to help. It's nice to be a part of a "work" culture that's so supportive!
