My Journey with Wealthy Affiliate: From Newbie to Earning Commissions

Here's what I'm doing these days.

It's been over a year since I joined Wealthy Affiliate (WA) after watching a YouTube video by Roope, one of the power members here. I've always longed for passive online income and have explored various ideas and taken numerous classes. However, I couldn't find anything that genuinely worked as promised. Roope, one of the gurus who started in the wealthy affiliate niche, expanded it to his own area of creating online income streams using different skill sets. His video resonated with me.

I joined and used all the features WA offers. The best part for me was the ability to easily create my own website, which allowed me to develop website building skills, SEO, and blog posting—tasks I previously thought required professional developers.

With Wealthy Affiliate, it's simple to create my desired website, write AI-based blogs, and immediately apply and test my niche website.

This has been the best solution I've found in the last 10 years—almost too good to be true. Now, I'm hosting websites for two clients and getting paid for it. They've paid me over $15,000 in total for website development even though my niche is not website development. This success came from practicing with multiple websites, as it's so easy to create and delete them if needed.

So, I've officially earned my first commission/income through one of the functions in the Wealthy Affiliate program.

My clients are paying their hosting and monthly management fees regularly! While this extra income is small, having retained clients is fantastic! I plan to help more people with website development.

The best lesson I've learned is that driving traffic to a website is more important than just creating visually appealing sites. I've also discovered that my design skills are quite good. Using only Canva, I can create a full website—one of my projects was for a shopping center, and they're thrilled with the result.

From now on, I'm managing their websites, driving traffic to them, and getting paid monthly! It's amazing, and I couldn't have done this without Wealthy Affiliate's website tools and educational resources.

After a year, my feedback as a member is that I'm more than satisfied. I continuously strive to learn more until my websites reach the level I desire!

I've updated my monthly desired income to $50,000! It was originally $20,000, but now that I've upskilled myself, I see the potential in this journey!

I'll keep posting updates about my journey here. This will be where I always look back and reset my goals.
